Wartime Documentation: Literature, Memoirs, and Testimonies

On April 22, 23, 24, Kyiv-Mohyla Academy held a series of wartimes discussions featuring leading writers, journalists, and military and policy analysts David Rieff (USA) and Ed Vulliamy(UK), and writer, publisher, and translator Askold Melnyczuk (USA).

During the event prominent writers, scholars, journalists, and human rights advocates from Ukraine and abroad will discuss key features of both fiction and non-fiction texts and narratives as testimonies of the realities of the Russian-Ukrainian war beginning in 2014, particularly during its full-scale phase.

This international interdisciplinary project is organized by the Kyiv-Mohyla Volodymyr Morenets Department of Literature, in collaboration with the Kyiv-Mohyla Faculty of Law, and the Kyiv-Mohyla Business School, and  University of Massachusetts Boston.

The discussions took place in person at the National University Kyiv-Mohyla Academy in Kyiv, and were available remotely via Zoom.
