KMA IT Department launches a new program:"Automation, Computer-Integrated Technologies, and Robotics"

Andriy Hlybovets, dean of the Kyiv-Mohyla IT Department and also dean of the Faculty of Informatics of the National Academy of Sciences of Ukraine, announced the launch of the baccalaureate program "Automation, Computer-Integrated Technologies, and Robotics", prepared in cooperation with Ukrainian Catholic University. Dean Glybovets stated, “Automation and robotics are developing rapidly, and the scope of their application will only become wider in the future. That is why the Faculty of Informatics is opening a new educational program for bachelor’s students,  Automation, computer-integrated technologies and robotics. Choosing this specialty will allow you to be a specialist who is always in demand and ready for any changes in the labor market.

“The program in robotics is urgently important for Ukraine now and will be relevant for many years to come. The current state of the industry is that most firms have one specialist around whom the entire business is built, which is quite risky. The market critically lacks engineers who are able to design new solutions in the field of ‘smart’.  On the war front, we also need new solutions in terms of the quality of drones and mobile platforms that will help our military. That is why we want to train new engineers who will develop the industry for decades to come," says Andriy Hlybovets.
