Meeting with the Ambassadors of the Kingdom of the Netherlands and Austria to Ukraine at Kyiv-Mohyla Academy

Even though this May was a stressful time for Kyiv, life on the Kyiv-Mohyla Academy’s Campus goes on. The Ambassador of Austria, Mr. Arad Benkjo, and the Ambassador of the Kingdom of the Netherlands, Mr. Jennes de Mol visited the Academy on May 23 and May 26. On May 23 Kyiv-Mohyla Academy was delighted to welcome the Ambassador of Austria, Mr. Arad Benkjo on the campus.

Maksym Yakovlyev, Head of the KMA Department of International Relations and the Director of the School of Political Analysis at KMA, who moderated that meeting, commented: “It was a discussion about the possibilities of strengthening scientific and educational cooperation between KMA and Austrian universities and research centers. It was even more exciting to discuss the peculiarities of diplomat training in Austria, which will undoubtedly be beneficial to our international relations programs”.

On Mr. May 26 Mr. Jennes de Mol met with the students to discuss with them the topic “The Netherlands: the surprise partner for Ukraine”. It was an open and live format of the discussion, where students were able to receive new experiences and ask questions.
