Since its founding in 1615, Kyiv-Mohyla Academy has navigated countless historical trials, steadfastly upholding the values of freedom, enlightenment, human rights, innovation, and Ukrainian identity.
In September 2024, the Kyiv-Mohyla Foundation successfully raised $42,000 USD to provide tuition for 42 children, ages 15-17, who have lost loved ones and homes due to the war. These children, classified as “internally displaced,” are the sons and daughters of Ukraine’s military members who have lost their lives or been wounded.
Ivanna, a 16 year old girl who attended the 2023-24 "Individual Trajectory of a Leader" program for the children of fallen Defenders of Ukraine, wrote a letter that brings us face to face with reality.
We celebrate the new academic year at KMA with hope and pride for the next generation of Ukrainian leaders. This year more than 1900 new students entered studies at the Kyiv-Mohyla Academy!
