“The fact that we are all sitting here now is a privilege. The fact that we continued to pursue education during the war is a privilege. The fact that we are enduring all the difficulties of this time is also our privilege. Throughout this year of study, I was greatly amazed that even with only two hours of daylight, I still had the opportunity to sit and write an essay about international treaties. I have this opportunity only because someone is defending our borders and shooting down rockets”, says Kateryna.
