On the second day of the opening of the Ukrainian restaurant RUTA in Washington DC, the KMA delegation visited the first full-service Ukrainian restaurant in Washington for an outstanding Ukrainian dinner.

It was a pleasure to support this new Ukrainian business in the U.S. See the updates on their Instagram (@ruta.dc). “We hope to be a part of restaurant diplomacy,” says Anna Volynets, a spokesperson for Ruta, which is named after a mythical Ukrainian flower. “We want to be a place where you can learn about Ukrainian culture and food, and see how beautiful it is.” KMF encourages everyone who comes to Washington to visit RUTA and support this new Ukrainian restaurant in the capital of the U.S.
