The generosity and expertise of our alumni and friends are among our greatest assets. Whether you gave financially or volunteered your time, we are grateful for your support. You enable us to fulfill our mission – to assist the National University “Kyiv-Mohyla Academy” to prepare qualified, ethical leaders for Ukraine through excellence in education and research.

The world has been challenged with a virus pandemic that changed our lives. The university adjusted to this new challenge and took swift action focusing on its students, faculty, and administration. Thanks to your past donations for the Digital University project, the university was ready for online education as it transitioned to digital technologies. The administration, deans, and faculty members made unprecedented changes to adjust to the new normal of online learning.

We are in a unique place. Fundraising has become more critical than ever. Students need financial help to continue their education and provide for basic needs. University programs need to continue. Faculty members need to be retained and retrained, and the best need to be hired. Student scholarships and faculty fellowships are needed.

This cannot be done without the support of the Kyiv-Mohyla community of supporters and donors. I feel optimistic and confident that Kyiv-Mohyla Academy will lead in overcoming the challenges of a new age in education, developing new methods and programs for the best young minds in Ukraine.

We are grateful for your past and ongoing donations, and we hope you will continue your support. Let’s write the next chapter in our story by investing in the education of future leaders of Ukraine.

Sincerely,

Marta Farion
