On June 26, 2018, thirty seven graduates of the MBA Program were awarded MBA degrees by Kyiv-Mohyla Business-School at the Convocation ceremony of National University Kyiv-Mohyla Academy. They were joined by other MBA graduates who came to lend support and congratulate their colleagues.

With several thousand people attending to greet the almost one thousand graduates of the university’s various schools and departments, the Convocation was held at the historic Kontraktova Ploshcha (Contract Square) facing the university campus.

Gennadiy Zubko, Vice-Prime Minister of Regional Development, Building and Housing, a graduate of the Kyiv-Mohyla Business School, joined the festivities at his Alma Mater.

Mr. Zubko thanked the University for giving Ukraine the gift of almost a thousand new graduates – educated, intelligent, caring, young people. After the official ceremonies, he joined the KMBS graduates with the enthusiasm and dedication of an alumnus coming back home.

Dr. Ulana Suprun, Acting Minister of Healthcare of Ukraine, who was this year’s Convocation Speaker, and has been in the forefront of reforms of the ministry and a proponent of transparency and management skills for the healthcare industry, congratulated the graduating class.

Oleksandr Savruk, Dean of KMBS, expressed his views that each of the new graduates has been inspired to be an agent of change in their professional and their personal lives. He extended congratulations and best wishes for success.

After the official ceremony, the graduates were joined by their professors and colleagues at an After Party. Based on past evidence, there is every reason to believe that they continue their sense of belonging to the KMBS community, and they will reach their goals and become valuable change-makers for Ukraine and the world community.

As Vice-Prime Minister Gennadiy Zubko stated at the Convocation ceremony, the new generation of leaders will build Ukraine in a new format. He called upon the young leaders to lead Ukraine to success because the success of all of Europe and of Ukraine depends on it.
