Dear Sir or Madam,
On behalf of National University of “Kyiv-Mohyla Academy” we are pleased to provide this letter of support for Kyiv-Mohyla Academy team in the process of fundraising for one-month unpaid internship at the European Court of Human Rights in Strasbourg, France.
Kyiv-Mohyla Moot Court Society is a non-governmental organization uniting students, alumni and administration of our university. Our society promotes best education practices and educates future leaders of modern Ukraine. Being founded in 2013, we have already put tremendous efforts for representation of university on the highest level.
For instance, in 2016, Kyiv-Mohyla Telders Team became an international winner among 26 teams around Europe and received Carnegie Foundation and Max Huber Awards for Best Memorials of Applicant and Respondent sides. Driven by enthusiasm, we continued our success this February in France, where Kyiv-Mohyla won the European Human Rights Moot Court Competion among 95 participating teams from 30 States of Council of Europe.
These victories are not the only indicator of our activity. To add, our university has organized Jessup Summer School, first ever on the international arena for preparation of young mooters. Moreover, we hosted Pre-Moot of this year’s Price Moot Court, EU law summer schools and various international conferences.
Kyiv-Mohyla MCS becomes well-recognized brand worldwide, demonstrating how the reciprocal cooperation may impact activity. As a consequence, we would like to start mutually beneficial collaboration with you by initiating lectures, meetings with experts, and education programmes.
Should you be interested in providing financial aid for our internship in Strasbourg, we attach to this letter a rough estimate of our budget. We understand that the total amount is significant; however we would like to reassure you that the draft budget reflects the most reasonable price options the team has found through extensive research.
