Five Alumni of Kyiv Mohyla Academy were honored by U.S.-Ukraine Foundation.

Congratulations on their professional achievements and their continuous support of Kyiv Mohyla Academy through endowments, scholarships, mentoring and university participation.

The U.S.-Ukraine Foundation, in cooperation with the Center for Leadership Development, honored 40 young Ukrainian leaders at the 40 Under 40 Ukraine’s Emerging Leaders Symposium and Reception at the Club of the Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine on April 24, 2013.

The honorees were selected through the 40 Under 40 Ukraine’s Emerging Leaders Initiative, a new program of the Foundation.

The 40 Under 40 Initiative is designed to annually identify 40 outstanding Ukrainians under the age of 40, who demonstrate leadership within their profession while making a significant contribution to the development of their community and Ukraine. Those selected represent a cross section of professions, whether they are in business, the arts, education, science, sports, etc., and regions of Ukraine.

Nataliya Popovych (Наталія Попович), Graduate of NaUKMA in 2001, Political Science and Sociology. She has a Master’s degree in Journalism and Mass Communications from the University of California in San Jose in USA. Natalia is President of PRP Group, a Weber Shandwick affiliate company. She supervises the firm’s operations in Ukraine, Russia, Azerbaijan.  She leads the Committee of International Relations at the Ukrainian Association of Public Relations (UAPR) and is a guest lecturer in the Kyiv-Mohyla Business School.

 

Dmytro Tarabakin (Дмитро Тарабакін), Graduate of NaUKMA in 1996, Economics. He completed a one-year Economics and Finance Program at Roosevelt University in Chicago.  Dmyrto is Co-founder and Managing director at Dragon Capital, the largest investment company in Ukraine. In 2004 he received the Person of the “Ukrainian Stock Market” Award from the top national business weekly “Biznes”. Dragon Capital Company founded the first Endowment Scholarship Fund at NaUKMA in May 2005 for an annual scholarship for a member of faculty of administration.

 

Taras Lukachuk (Тарас Лукачук) – Graduate of NaUKMA in 1997, Economics. Taras is Vice-president of Kraft Foods, Area director for Ukraine and New Markets in Eastern Europe and Central Asia, covering eleven countries.

 

Mykhailo Minakov (Михайло Мінаков), Graduate of NaUKMA in 1998, Philosophy. He is former Fulbright Visiting Scholar at Harvard University and at Kennan Institute. Mykhailo is Docent of the Department of Philosophy and Religious Studies at Kyiv Mohyla Academy, President of the Foundation for Good Politics, Head of the Kant Association of Ukraine, member of the Coordinating Council on Development of Civil Society in the Presidential Administration of Ukraine, Director of Krytyka Institute,  former Director for Development of Viktor Pinchuk Foundation.

 

Yevhen Hlibovytsky (Євген Глібовицький) – Graduate of NaUKMA in 2000, Political Science. Yevhen is Lecturer at Kyiv Mohyla Business School. He is an expert on strategic planning and values. He is member of  Univska Group, that developed a plan for development for the city of Lviv (Vision of  Lviv 2025), Nestorivska Group (Vision of  Ukraine 2025), and Dnipropetrovska Group (DYB 2030), and was the founder of the strategic planning group for Kyrgyzstan.
